WWII Reenactment/Military Vehicle Registration Ray A Fagen Memorial Airshow
Saturday, June 16 - Gates open at 11 AM. Show starts at 3:00 Live performance following the airshow by Jamey Johnson. Concert on the 16th, rain or shine.
Sunday, June 17 - Rain day for airshow only.
The Ray A Fagen Memorial Airshow is dedicated to promoting patriotism by honoring the men and women of the military. Its mission of "brightening the future by illuminating the past" and focuses on the World War II veterans.
This World War II event will be in Granite Falls, MN. The Lenzen - Roe - Fagen Memorial Airport will host the WWII encampment displays.
There will be no battle reenactment this year.
All allied and axis units interested in participating must be members of the WWII Historical Re-enactment Society, Inc. (HRS) or a recognized reenactment society. HRS authenticity and safety standards will be enforced and can be found at http://www.worldwartwohrs.org. Political flags or uniforms will not be permitted.
The WWII Historical Reenactment Society (HRS) rules apply to all reenactors.
Camping is available within the WWII encampment on the GF airport grounds. Porta potties/showers, Friday evening performer meal, one Saturday meal ticket, and parking on the grounds for reenactors and those bringing military vehicles will be provided. Food vendors will be on the grounds.
The deadline for registration will be June 1st. There may be a limit to the number allowed to register based on reenactor response. More information will be provided as we approach the date of the airshow.
