WWII USS Essex Ace, Don McPherson (102) Reunites In Flight For The First Time Since WWII With USS Essex Based SB2C-5 Helldiver

At 2:00 PM, join us for an exciting flight experience as Air Force Lt. Col. Ray Fowler pilots the Fagen Fighters SB2C-5 Navy Helldiver, accompanied by WWII Navy Ace Hellcat pilot, Ens. Donald M. McPherson, aged 102, from Adams, Nebraska, in the gunner/navigator seat. This will be a significant moment, as Donald McPherson has not flown in a Warbird since WWII.

Scott Guyette will be present in a photoship, capturing stunning air-to-air photography and video of this historical flight.

Immediately following the flight, Donald McPherson and Ray Fowler will engage in a discussion in the Navy Hangar, titled "Fighter Pilot to Fighter Pilot," which will be filmed by Scott and Kyle Guyette.

We are hopeful for clear weather to ensure a successful event. In the event of inclement weather, we will notify attendees in advance to reschedule.

We look forward to seeing you there!
