Parking
Parking at the museum is on-site and free. If the parking lot is full, please use the driveway shoulders as overflow. Handicap parking is available and located near the entrance of the museum.

  • There are no airlines that fly into the Granite Falls Municipal Airport/Lenzen-Roe-Fagen Memorial Field (KGDB). General aviation is welcome. Please visit AirNav for more fly-in information.

  • Fagen Fighters WWII Museum is conveniently situated precisely two and a half hours west of the Twin Cities on highway 212, and a similar distance from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. For visitors traveling by air, both Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (KMSP) and Sioux Falls Regional Airport (KFSD) are easily accessible options. Rental car services are available at both airports, allowing for a seamless journey to the museum to explore our collection of historic artifacts and exhibits from World War II. Additionally, Southwest Minnesota Regional Airport - Marshall/Ryan Field where charter services are offered is just 30 miles south of KGDB. We look forward to welcoming you to our museum located within a comfortable traveling distance from these major hubs.

  • Fagen Fighters WWII Museum is handicap accessible. Our campus includes four separate hangars, which requires visitors to walk and stand throughout their visit. Please plan ahead bring personal handicap accommodation equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, etc.

  • Granite Falls provides year-round lodging options at Prairie's Edge Casino Resort and Granite Falls Super Motel. In the summer and fall seasons, two campgrounds welcome all campers to enjoy the area's natural beauty. For additional information on lodging, please visit the city's website.
